Our Story
In 2003, Maribel Arroyo and Eddy Sanchez had a dream of opening a restaurant where diners could enjoy the colorful taste of Mexico with authentic dishes and family recipes. Our menu offers dishes such as a Torta de Milaneza or a Mole Poblano, just like the one mama made, but also traditional Tex-Mex options that everyone knows and loves.
That dream turned their little shop by the train tracks into a Downtown Kennesaw favorite, eventually having to move to a larger location down the street into the historic house from the early 1900's that is now home of El Taco Azteca Bar and Grill.
We pride ourselves in offering excellent service and freshest ingredients to offer you the best experience. Our unique environment with wrap-around porch seating and homey feel will surely make you want to visit us again!
